The problem
Once an order was confirmed in Patisco, receiving, shipping, stocktaking and processing still lived in spreadsheets and people’s heads. Tracing which batch belonged to which order — and who confirmed it when — was hard after the fact.
What we did
- 01Do one thing well: record every movement in and out of the warehouse, and who confirmed it when.
- 02Read Patisco documents directly instead of re-keying them; every transaction is threaded, so a missing milestone is visible at a glance.
- 03A production module designed around “each operation is a work order, each level is a semi-finished good”; phase one is live.
Where it stands
- Used daily at Point Asia — the first in-house system in the Patisco ecosystem running on a real warehouse.
- Document structures follow international EDI standards, laying the groundwork for direct data exchange with customers’ systems.
