AGILE GDS
A combined warehousing, global dispatch and supply-chain finance service for bicycle brands producing in Taiwan. Stock sits in one warehouse in Taichung and ships worldwide from there, so brands need no overseas warehouse — with Patisco as the single source of truth for the whole flow.

The problem
Bicycles exported from Taiwan averaged over US$1,000 FOB in 2022, and nearly 80% went to North America and Europe. Yet most brands lease local warehouses, charter trucks and borrow from local banks: payment terms run 60–270 days, production to sell-through can take a year, and the peaks for receiving, shipping and selling fall five months apart. A 3,300 m² European warehouse with six staff costs roughly €520,000 a year. However well-known the brand, expanding this way is hard, and many end up trapped by inventory and exhausted credit lines.
What we did
- 01Three services in one: storage billed per box per month, turning fixed cost into variable cost; sea, air and express shipping direct to global markets; and bikes in stock usable as collateral for better financial flexibility.
- 02Warehousing at the source in Taiwan: at the same 3,300 m² and six staff, the estimated annual cost is about a third lower than running it in Europe, with 3–9 extra weeks of buffer.
- 03Standardized into five options along three axes — whether title transfers, whether we bridge the cash gap, and whether a finance partner must be involved: pure logistics and warehousing, inventory time-shifting, AGILE-controlled inventory finance, structured distribution, and liquidation and recovery.
- 04Patisco as the single source of truth: orders, specifications, inspection reports and sign-offs are all recorded in Patisco and notarized on a blockchain as tamper-evident proof.
- 05A release gate: without a release from Patisco, the warehouse system cannot dispatch; stock that fails inspection is frozen and can be neither financed nor shipped.
- 06After dispatch, payment is triggered by photographic proof of delivery — funds unlock only on a recorded event — so finance partners can price and split payments precisely.
Where it stands
- In winter temperatures of −4 to −9 °C, we drove 3,352 km to visit 11 brands and distributors in Belgium, Germany and Austria, together selling about 200,000 bikes a year. All saw it as the direction the industry is heading and wanted to follow its development.
- Service definitions, the end-to-end process document (v1.0, January 2026) and the post-dispatch cash-flow service manual are complete; terms are being finalized with logistics, customs and finance partners.
